All Information and Communications Technology is owned by Yas school and is made available to pupils to further their education, and for staff to develop curriculum material, management and administration.

The school reserves the right to examine or delete any files that may be held on this website.

Activity that threatens the integrity of the Yas systems, or activity that attacks or corrupts other systems is forbidden.

The use of forums, private messaging, journals, blogs and personal walls must be limited to school purposes. The language and content used within these facilities should be appropriate to the task.

All registered users must agree to the Yas E-learning Service policies.

On registration, users must give their consent to Yas for processing their personal data and to acknowledge Yas's Data Protection Statement.

Users of Yas must agree to:

  1. Not use Yas for anything else other than for the purposes of teaching, learning and research.
  2. Not use Yas for uploading, storing, viewing or transmitting any material which is (or may be considered to be) defamatory, inflammatory, discriminatory, obscene or offensive.
  3. Always act in a professional manner. Be polite and courteous to others when using Yas. Yas is not to be used to harass any other persons.
  4. Report to the Site Administrator or a member of staff any content you consider inappropriate.
  5. Not plagiarise in submitted postings or assignments.
  6. Not breach the copyright of Yas or any third party by copying from Yas without authorisation. Copyright of the course materials and content of Yas are owned or controlled by Yas unless otherwise stated. Any copies of third-party materials will be clearly labelled with warnings about any copyright restrictions.
  7. Not re-distribute the material downloaded from this site in any form.

Material not conforming to these requirements will be removed from Yas.

Users of Yas must agree to:

  1. Look after their own username and password. Do not share your password with anyone else and do not use the username and password of other users.
  2. Keep physical access to Yas secure. For example, do not login to Yas and then leave your computer unattended. You must not allow any other individual to log-in using your username and password.
  3. Not post material which contains viruses or other programs which may disrupt Yas's systems.
  4. Not post material which promotes terrorism or radicalisation.
  5. Understand that Yas will not take responsibility for any loss of information, which has been posted on Yas E-learning Service, once users cease to be formally associated with Yas.

Certain activities will be regarded very seriously by Yas and are subject to severe penalties for users, including suspension of use of the system.
